Super Bowl Trivia Question:Which two cities have hosted the most Super Bowls?

The answers are posted at the bottom of this article, but the following chicken wing recipe should give you a hint about one of them.

Cajun-Style Chicken Wings

From the city nicknamed “The Big Easy,” this championship recipe is a tight spiral that hits just below the numbers. It sports an earthy, rich coating and can be complemented with some home-made hot sauce if you are a die-hard spicy chicken wing fan. Either way, jump on the bandwagon, and this menu option is sure to cover the spread. Field three pounds of chicken wings and kick off the preparation.

Gather These Ingredients For The Rub

  •     1 tablespoon of baking powder
  •     1 ½ teaspoon of paprika
  •     1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  •     1 teaspoon of onion powder
  •     1/2 teaspoon of thyme
  •     1/2 teaspoon of cumin
  •     1 teaspoon of sea salt
  •     ½ teaspoon of black pepper
  •     ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper

Gather These Ingredients For The Super Sauce

  •     ¼ cup of salted butter
  •     1/3 cup of Louisiana-style hot sauce
  •     2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce

Blend all of the rub ingredients in a bowl large enough that you can thoroughly mix the ingredients. Now, dry the three pounds of chicken wings lightly with a towel. Put the wings in a large bowl and begin sprinkling and tossing the rub over them. All the wings should have a relatively even coating when they are ready. Spread the wings out on a dry sheet and refrigerate overnight.

Preheat your PGS grill on a low setting and place the wings on the grate. While they are cooking, melt the butter on a side burner in a saucepan. Add in the pair of sauce ingredients and turn off the burner. Once the wings are cooked to your liking, put them in a large bowl and douse them with the Super Sauce. Mix them around in the warm liquid and serve promptly on a platter.

If you haven’t yet figured out which Saintly city holds a tie for most Super Bowl hosts, the home team lost the NFC Championship when the refs failed to call blatant pass interference in the Red Zone last season.

Super Bowl Trivia Question:Only four teams have not yet appeared in a Super Bowl. Can you guess which ones?

Sweet Fire Texas Chicken Wings

The name of this recipe ought to offer a hint about one of the teams, and it’s not the Dallas Cowboys. That being said, the non-Super Bowl team was eliminated by the Tennessee Titans this season. Although their playoff run was bitter-sweet, stoke up your PGS grill and get ready for some football, and wings.

Gather These Ingredients

  •     3 pounds chicken of chicken wings
  •     1 stick of salted butter
  •     1/3 cup of dark brown sugar
  •     2 tablespoons of garlic powder
  •     1 tablespoon of chili powder
  •     ½ teaspoon of onion powder
  •     1 teaspoon of sea salt

Preheat the PGS grill at a medium temperature. Melt the butter in a saucepan and integrate the garlic powder, onion powder, and sea salt. Place the wings in a sizable sealable plastic bag. Add in the butter blend and manipulate them so they are covered thoroughly. Mix the brown sugar and chili powder together and roll the wings in it until they are coated. Now place the wings on your PGS grill and cook to perfection. Try to flip them over only once if possible, to secure the robust juices and flavor. Serve warm with your wing dip of choice.

Super Bowl Trivia Question:Which running back gained the most yards in a Super Bowl?

Georgia Mop Sauce

Seeing that Atlanta will be hosting this year’s Super Bowl championship, it’s only fitting to include a Georgia classic. Since peaches may not be perfect for the big game, this Georgia classic could be the ideal sauce for slathering your wings.

Gather These Ingredients

  •     1 cup of ketchup
  •     1/2 cup of cider vinegar
  •     1/2 cup of brown sugar
  •     1/2 cup of strong coffee
  •     2 tablespoons of Worcester Sauce
  •     2 tablespoons of yellow mustard
  •     ½ teaspoon of chili powder
  •     2 teaspoons of garlic powder
  •     Add black pepper (to liking)

Place all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a mild boil on your PGS grill side burner. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Dip your wings and eat chicken wings for 60 minutes of pro-football.

It’s essential to keep in mind that a great Super Bowl Sunday is not a matter of whether your team makes the big game, wins, or loses. What really matters is the quality of your chicken wings!
